     The research project ‘Aimfree’ puts an agile, line-less
assembly system into practice based on a highly scalable and
praxis-oriented battery assembly. An increase in flexibility and
resilience is achieved through cycle-time-independent product routes
and reconfigurable station technology. This was made possible by the
holistic integration of intelligent planning and control, autonomous
driving, and reconfigurable infrastructure.},
