Zusammenfassung

Das Kunststoff-Rührreibschweißen ist aufgrund von hohen Schweißnahtfaktoren und Oberflächengüten von großem Interesse. Dennoch sind die bisher möglichen Vorschubgeschwindigkeiten begrenzt. Vorangegangene Untersuchungen zeigten ein Verbesserungspotenzial durch eine gezielte Werkzeugoberflächengestaltung. Im Rahmen dieses Beitrages werden systematisch der Einfluss verschiedener Laserstrukturen auf die Verfahrgeschwindigkeit und Festigkeiten der Schweißnähte beim Rührreibschweißen näher untersucht.

Plastic friction stir welding is of great interest due to high welding factors and good surface characteristics. Welding speed, however, is limited. Previous investigations pointed towards potential improvements by a systematically tool surface design. The aim of this paper is to show the influence of laser texturing on the welding speed and welding strength of friction stir welding.
