Zusammenfassung
Vorwort Nur noch sieben Jahre bis 2030, dem Jahr, in dem wichtige Meilensteine der EU- und der deutschen Klimapolitik sowie vieler Industrieunternehmen auf dem Weg zu einer „net-zero“- Betriebsweise erreicht sein sollen! In dieser Zeit müssen die Konzepte entwickelt und zumindest großtechnisch erprobt werden, die uns dann im Zeitfenster 2045-2050 wirklich ohne CO 2-Emissionen auskommen lassen. Klar ist schon heute: diese Transformation wird nur mit mehr Automatisierung zu schaffen sein! Sei es beim Ausbau der elektrischen Energieerzeugung und -verteilung, bei der Integration von Wertschöpfungsketten, bei der – automatisierten! – Bilanzierung des ProduktCO2-Fußabdrucks und daraus abgeleitet der firmenspezifischen CO2-Bilanzen. Aber auch die Umstellung der Wertschöpfungsketten auf defossilisierte Einsatzstoffe bringt gravierende Prozessveränderungen und automatisierungstechnische Herausforderungen mit sich. Automatisierung geht nie ohne Messtechnik, Daten und Digitalisierung – weitere wichtige Bausteine in dieser Transformation, die wir mit der 24.
